Dubai Dispositif (2022) HD video, single channel, black and white, sound, 00:49:10, variable dimensions
A compilation film in seven parts made out of a selection of hundreds of amateur tourist Youtube videos shot in Dubai. Images - always
different, yet always similar - of various settings of the city, both exteriors and interiors, unfold in front of the hundreds eyes/cameras,
while being critically dissected by an essayistic text appearing on screen. The film questions intertwining notions related to city planning,
architecture, technology, hyper-(self)representation, bodies, capitalism, production and diffusion of online imagery.

Dubai Dispositif is currently being re-edited in a shorter version (upcoming in late 2024).
